WHAT IS FOREVER FOR?

No words to say,my heart felt cold.
I waited for tears,but nothing flowed.
No feelings to share,no anger to unfold.
I listened as her life story was quietly told.

So young,so sweet,and now she's gone.
What amazing stories she can make is now untold.
So fast to end the life she has known.
And all that was left are her memories for our hearts to hold.

And through the emptiness that fills my soul,
I remember this word that brings so much joy.
And though I know I've used it to make life full,
I wonder now what FOREVER is for.

FACES OF LOVE!

Its face maybe that of an innocent child,

so pure and so rare.

Or that of someone who have aged,

and had so much to bear.

Its face maybe that of a young woman,

on the verge of first love in bloom.

Or that of a handsome hunk of a man,

waiting for his turn to be a groom.

Its face maybe that of true friendship,

so faithful and unconditional in its loyalty.

Or that of two people who shared hardship,

and found true love that's amazing in its rarity.

Faces of love!A wonder that amazes!

A miracle that's hard to surpass!

A joy,A pain.A smile.A thorn.

Childhood dreams.

Where gentle fairies roam and magic dwells.

Where the world is full of amazing fairy tales.

Childhood wishes.

Of chocolate covered houses and cotton candies.

Of pretty dolls and cute and cuddly teddy bears.

Childhood memories.

Of silly games and fights for toys!

Of birthday parties and christmas joys!

They dwell like myths in the depths of our being.

Hear their voices when there's no room for believing.

Let them show you the road that will lead to forgiving.

A TIME FOR REFLECTION!

city lights,busy streets,

dazzling illuminations fascinates.

a beautiful sight before me

blinding in its magnificence.

yet i feel an emptiness within

a longing for something unseen.

i close my eyes for a moment

reflecting my life to the fullest.

the battles i've won,

and the ones i lost...

the choices i made,

and the paths i've walked..

sometimes i long for these moments

when i can see myself and dig my thoughts.

A time for reflection,for love and life.

for questions and answers,for past and future.

for realizing what i've become,and what i have to be.

and for believing there's still happiness within reach.

A REFLECTION IN THE MIRROR!

I looked at the mirror and saw a stranger!

A pale reflection of the girl I was once!

Was it sadness or fear I saw in her eyes?

Or maybe pain for the hurt she had done?

I close my eyes and search for her within me.

The girl with dreams and never-ending tale.

With strength that amazes and heart that gives.

A smile that reflects the sweetest of innocence.

A tinge of longing filled my sadden heart!

A tear for the girl that once filled my past!

A pain for every memory I thought would last!

A wish for a chance to make a brand new start!

I looked back at the mirror and finally found acceptance.

Accepting the knowledge that I cannot redeem my past.

And though the girl in the mirror is still a stranger in my eyes,

I will take a step and hold her hand.Accepting her with open arms.
